SDNPA CIL Grants
The South Downs National Park Authority(SDNPA) issues grants under the Community Infrastructure Levy(CIL). There are two types of funding:
- CIL Neighbourhood Portion – which can be spent by the Parish but only on infrastructure.
- CIL Projects – details of proposed projects are sent to SDNPA for approval

CIL Projects Funding
The Parish Council submitted applications for funding to enable purchase of new equipment for the two children’s play areas in Stedham. Below are links to reports summarising the original plans and current status for both areas. Also, a Project Closure Report, including a summary of the finances, submitted to the SDNPA for The Recreation Ground which was completed in June 2022

SDNPA Other Grants
SIPC applied for a Beelines grant in January 2025 to establish a continuous border of wild flowers through the Common View Playground, including the corridor of the cherry trees, to link the gardens, allotments and natural areas that border the playground. A grant of £1555 was paid in April 2026.

CDC Grants
Chichester District Council(CDC) issues grants under several schemes including their New Homes Bounus(NHB) Parish Allocation scheme. The Parish Council have applied for and received the following grants:
