The proposed scheme has completed West Sussex County Council’s formal moderation process and been approved.
The next step is a statutory legal process which will involve arranging a formal public consultation on the proposed scheme. This consultation will run for a period of three weeks and the County Council Highways Services will also engage with Sussex Police and Highway’s Road Safety Team. Additionally, details of the scheme will be published in the local newspaper, made available on WSCC’s website and accessible at local libraries to ensure broad public awareness and engagement.
During this period, members of the public and other interested parties will have the opportunity to submit comments, expressions of support or objections regarding the proposed scheme. All feedback received will be reviewed and assessed once the three-week consultation period has concluded.
The start date of the consultation period will be announced in due course.
